β β β β β A must go-to stop for anyone that even remotely likes craft beer. De Struise Brouwers are in my opinion one of the best brewers of belgium. Their tasting room is always filled with the enthousiast brewers and stuffed with over 30 drafts of beer.

β β β β β Fantastic brewery! Can easily be missed when looking for the entrance to the place as it used to be an old school. Very quirky looking inside but I like that. It gives it character.
Reasonably priced beers - β¬1 for 8cl glass or β¬2 for 160cl glass. Or for the stronger beers (from around 12%+ ABV) β¬2 for 8cl or β¬4 for 160cl. With the stronger stuff you really wouldn't want to drink anything more than the 160cl because they are very rich and quite sweet (especially with the barrel aged stuff) spoke to the guy who was serving and he was very polite and very knowledgable on the styles available.
Beer styles and strengths do vary from saisons to IPAs, from wheats to imperial Russian stouts (and the latter were particularly very good as they are aged in all sorts of barrels like rum, bourbon, Bordeaux etc.) ABV also goes from an innocuous 3.5% to a mind-blowing 26% so do be careful.
And if that isn't enough beery goodness for you then there is a small gift/bottle shop just next to the entrance to the bar area where you can buy t-shirts, beer glasses and of course the beer itself. Prices do vary depending on what you're getting.
I will very much be visiting again in the future when I'm around the area just a shame that they are only open to the public Saturdays between 2pm-6pm.

β β β β β Located in a former schoolhouse, the brewery is open on Saturdays 1400-1800hrs for tasting. They have a huge selection of beers to taste, almost 30 on tap. Most of them are heavy beers, with 10% or more abv. There is option to taste the beer in sample size, about 100ml, so you can taste more beers without getting hammered.
They have both indoors and outdoors sitting areas. If you like a beer very much, you can buy bottles from their gift shop. Some beers are quite pricey, but if you are into such beers, it could be worth the price.
