R	Robin Gobyn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Al enkele keren daar geweest en telkens is het top. We hadden geluk met jet weer waardoor we hebben kunnen buiten zitten om te eten wat extra is. Het eten is heel erg lekker, bediening vriendelijk en professioneel. Het is wel iets prijziger maar het wel waard. Een opmerking is dat er misschien wat meer groentjes mogen, dit was naar ons inziens wat te beperkt. Been there a few times and it's always top notch. We were lucky with jet weather which allowed us to sit outside to eat which is extra. The food is very tasty, service is friendly and professional. It is a bit more pricey but well worth it. A comment is that perhaps some more vegetables are allowed, in our opinion this was a bit too limited.

N	Niki Bix on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generally a bit hit and miss. The service was mixed, the younger waiter was attentive and enthusiastic, the older guy seemed like someone had forced him to be st work. Correct but going through the motions. Great, fresh bread and good quality butter. Shrimp croquettes were good, not outstanding, and the presentation was unimaginative and bordering on unattractive. Witte pens was nicely flavoured but was pulled through by the shallots that accompanied it. The lobster was fine, again, the most interesting aspect was the sauce. The steak was of good quality and cooked well. The apple crumble was slightly underwhelming. Overall everything was 'correct' enough, as would be expected at a restaurant in this price category, but for me there was a certain lack of flair, or imagination, or real passion. The exceptions were the smoked Holstein, which was fantastic (again, the accompanying condiments were great), and a very nice ginger and passion fruit cocktail. If I were in the area again I would try another place rather than return, but it wasn't a bad experience.
