★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het eten was op z'n zachtst gezegd pover: ommekeer zonder brood of garnering en de garnalenkroketten smaakten overdreven naar vis. Hiervoor hebben wij veel te veel betaald. Prijs/kwaliteit volledig scheef.
The food was poor to say the least: turning without bread or garnish and the shrimp croquettes tasted excessively like fish. We have paid far too much for this. Price / quality completely skewed.

Very nice location a stone's throw from the much busier Vismarkt and Grote Markt. Nice drinks and snacks. Friendly and attentive staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Altijd een top cafe/bar op de perfecte plaats met uitzicht over de marktplein van mechelen. De ideale plek om te genieten van een heerlijke sangria, (schuim)wijntje, of gewoon koffie of fris. De uitbaatster is heel vriendelijk en prijzen zijn correct. Nette uitstraling en fijn terras.
Always a top cafe/bar in the perfect place with a view over the market square of Mechelen. The ideal place to enjoy a delicious sangria, (foam) wine, or just coffee or soda. The manageress is very friendly and prices are correct. Neat appearance and nice terrace.
