Got a reservation quite late in the evening. Was no problem. Good service.

Excellent food, sweet and sour glazed ribs are the greatest.

The greatest restaurant in Aalst for spare ribs! Very nice people also!

Excellent ribs in all you can eat

Must be the worst experience we ever had in a Resto. The experience started when entering. Punctually at 20u we arrived. A queue had formed reaching all the way outside. Some 30 people were ignored for 30 minutes. Not even a: 'Sorry for the wait, we'll be right there with you'. To make matters even worse we saw free tables readily available for most of the people. In hindsight: Just make us sit down already instead of letting us wait in the hallway. We asked an employee about this and she was totally agitated with the situation. Just ignoring our question and straight up walked away. If we did not have a reservation we would have already left at that point. When we finally sat down we ordered our apéritifs and a bottle of water for the 6 of us. They first arrived with 8 glasses and soon after with the main dish. ? We talked to our waiter again telling him we wanted to drink our apéritifs first and then have dinner. The main dishes were taking away and another 15 minutes later we finally had our drinks. We waited. waited and waited once more but no main dish. We asked the waiter about this and he was unsure when to serve it. Clearly seeing our glasses were empty right now, including the extra water. ? The main dish re-arrived and to be honest they told us it was going to be salty, but it tasted like a whole saltshaker was poured down on the ribs. Further more it tasted quite dry and you could tell these were not fresh. Previously we went around the block with Mozart and the taste there is soo much better. One friend of ours did not order ribs. His order did not arrive before we finished our plates. By this time we went to the manager again and told her we were waiting for 30 minutes just for one dish. Again walking away. Totally stressed out by the situation. We did not want to give up so easily and demanded a compensation. She stopped and brisked: "Just leave; The whole order is on us." We abruptly stood up and left. Our friend who had not received his food had to find it elsewhere. This is our story, but we talked to other tables and a lot was going wrong there too. Don't go here. Just don't there is no reason. If you want to enjoy ribs go to Mozart or Amadeus. It tastes better and they obviously serve you better.
