The charm of the carriage ride! Sincerely nice except!
The price ! 50 € half an hour, ok but then watch in hand that's how our ballad broke up, leaving the market place 10 min through the pretty cobbled streets to arrive near the beguinage where instead of the "regulatory break for the horse "We tell you that you have 10 minutes break to enjoy the perimeter and go see the beguinage (no pot for us this part had already been visited), then we leave for 10 min of carriage, (not possible before our guide s was evaporated!).
Finally if you count it's 20 minutes of carriage finally!
M'fin the guide was nice and claim his tip in case it is not enough ...
The three stars are really for the beauty of Bruges and the charm of the ride in a carriage but to conclude that this last point is a real game for tourists catch (which we obviously allow ourselves to take).

Annoyed coachmen, exorbitant prices of 55 € and anything but good for the horses. I don't support that.

We loved the carriage ride which allowed us to go about the city by pretty paved paths. The experience is very nice and it is very romantic. Count 50 € for half an hour and also count a tip which is requested from the start for the explanations of the monuments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this. Our horse Napolean was well cared for and seemed happy. Our driver Bart was very informative and quite funny. Highly recommended way to see a lovely city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I spoke to 2 drivers to see where to go and if our group could ride (4 adults and 2 kids). They both agreed. It was very busy and I approached a carriage asking if she were free, she nodded her head and we started to get situated. She then yelled at us that, " You have to ask and you have too big of a group." She never tried to split our group and we tried to talk to her but she just told us to get off leaving my daughter in tears. Thanks for ruining our day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The carriage ride is €50 euro and you’re immediately asked for a tip at the end. We rode around for 15 minutes and stopped for 10 to let the horse rest which seemed unnecessary. Another 10 minutes to the Market and we were done. Pretty lame commentary and our driver made several racist remarks that were uncomfortable. Something that should’ve been sweet and romantic was very much a waste of a lot of money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These horses are very clearly well cared for. Their hooves are in good shape and appropriately shod, their coats are gleaming and disease free, and they are in fine shape, not a one too skinny.
After three days in Brugge, I can verify I saw three separate groups of horses each day, which tells me they are worked in rotation and are given days off. They all carried themselves brightly and did not seem overburdened at all. Very rarely did I notice one out of breath.
The best thing I noticed about this company was their appreciation for each horses' individual concerns... Some were very friendly and happy to be scratched, while others had nosebands that warned against touching them. This doesn't always mean they're biters or dislike attention, just that some horses need to focus on their job. They did not seem withdrawn or overstimulated in the way that a petting zoo animal can become.
This operation is a fine example of proper animal husbandry.
