★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my favorite restaurant that I visited in Belgium (really my entire time in Europe). I went back three times and had the lamb, the steak and the veal, which were all cooked perfectly and were so good! On my last trip, I also got to have the first delivery of Belgian asparagus, which was just incredible. The staff, particularly the two owners, are friendly and really helpful. The service was great. And Maaseik is a beautiful town that's definitely worth a visit.
I already can't wait to go back. I didn't even mention the amazing beer...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ nice cosy place for a drink an dinner. hospitable staff. nice surroundings, old marketplace in a little old town. we had some excellent Belgian beers and enjoyed good local dishes. great value for money. highly recommended. needs to be on your bucket list!
