★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usually I really like thai food, that's why I decided to visit this place for a dinner. I was a bit disappointed with the amount of proposed dishes and also with the not enough described meaning of each of them. Putting just an information like "red curry" is not enough. Also it is weird that titles of the kinds of dishes are written in English, but non of the ingredients is translated into English. About the food itself: good, but nothing special. I'm sure there are better places for heaving a good thai meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having been here a couple of times before, and really liking the Thai cuisine, we decided today to go back once more this evening. Space was available for booking online, but only at 1745 or earlier, or 1945 or later. We settled for 1745 and the immediate confirmation reservation system did its job. As we arrived at the still mostly empty restaurant, we confirmed that we had a reservation and the waiter mumbled something about double booking, and wanted to put us at a table that looked uncomfortable for our party and was almost within the kitchen itself. As we were rather reluctant to take this, he almost immediately offered us another table nearby, and said under his breath that he would then have to find other solutions for the next customers, as if this were our fault. Quite a start to the evening. Another waiter, a really polite and friendly one, took our order and brought us our drinks. As we had been here before, we knew what we wanted and this all went rather quickly. The table we were given, was right next to the passageway into the kitchen, and as this was an open arrangement, we could see most of what was going on in there. Initially, while we were almost alone in the restaurant, the noise from the kitchen was rather disturbing. Later, as more customers added their own noise to the mix, this became less pronounced. The food arrived in timely fashion, and was, us per usual, very delicious. It is not a cheap restaurant by any means, but the flavors are great, and it is for sure different from local fare. Unfortunately, our rather unrestricted view into the kitchen over the evening showed us something else that was added to each dish, besides the normal ingredients and some TLC. The kitchen staff were repeatedly seen to be stirring in the pots and pans, then taste the food with the spoon they were using, and then, instead of putting the spoon away for cleaning, promptly plunging the very same spoon back into whatever they were preparing for a customer. This is both disgusting and totally unsanitary. We were very much put off by this. When our friendly waiter asked us if everything had been alright, we mentioned both our initial reception by his colleague and the sights we had witnessed in the kitchen. We stressed it was nothing personal against him, but that what we had seen was unacceptable. He understood, and went away to talk to the manager, and his sullen co-worker, but even though he himself was apologetic, he simply then presented us with our final bill, without any other consideration. As the manager did not seem to think it was worthy of his time, we mentioned that we were even more displeased by this, but what was the brave man to do ? We will never eat here again, that is for sure. Quite a shame, really. I do hope the Belgian food inspection services take note, and make sure this "service" is not done to other paying customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice setting in Hasselt center. We had one of the menu's accompanied by some Thai beer. Lots of food which all tasted rather authentic and we felt we were offered high quality ingredients. Good food in Belgium does not come cheap, and neither does Cy'an, with our extended menu, first drink and some water we had around 48€ pp but we found this entirely worth the value we got.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The main meals just okay, not worth the price.
But the dessert banana was really good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good staff, their service was on point!!! A little bit disappointed in the taste of the meal (except the vegetarian appetizers, they were really nice) and also a bit overpriced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a plate of starters then a red curry with boiled rice. Whilst the waiter said he'd make the curry spicier for us, I found it more sweet than anything.
There only seemed to be two people working so we were overlooked for drink refreshments (they seemed overworked).
The meal was enjoyable but overall don't expect fast service there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the plus side really beautiful ambience. Food was flavorful and well prepared albeit an overly sweet sauce. Did not get our food till an hour and half later what made it even worse was they didn’t seem to think they had done something wrong. We got no explanations or apologies for this delay. When asked they said we had starters. Mind you this was 6 loempias that was really for half the group(of 6). If you are willing to wait forever for your food sure give it a try.
