★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fijne bakker waar je graag komt. Is wel wat duurder dan de doorsnee bakker. Grootste minpunt: gaat pas open om 8:00, veel te laat voor een bakker vind ik.
Nice bakery where you like to come. Is a bit more expensive than the average bakery. Biggest downside: only opens at 8:00 am, far too late for a baker I think.

Very tasty bread! Especially fan of the sourdough bread. The croissants and butter cakes are also recommended.

Very nice bread! The friendly service took time to listen to what kind of bread I was looking for and advised me with great passion. Very nice.

Very delicious, absolutely worth the money, I want to eat it all day. It's crunchy, slightly sour, full of amazing flavours.
I've tried some of the whiter breads before and I was not particularly overwhelmed, I've definitely had better white bread in other countries but not in Belgium.
But the darker breads seem to be very tasty.
Definitely the best bread I've ever found in Gent.
Highly recommended!
You can pay by Bancontact. Staff is friendly, they have sandwich options made on the spot, drinks and many other small goodies to try out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bakery is located inside a small market where you can find all the basic things you need: fresh fruit and veggies, a fresh cheese shop, butchers a small coffee shop/ restaurant and then this bakery.
The Copain bread was ultra tasty, and so were the other pastries. Many of their produce is bio, just like in the market.
The service was friendly and efficient and I would definitely recommend it (especially if it’s raining because of the vibe and space you have inside or you want to buy some other stuff from the neighbouring shops).
A small place for kids can also be found there!
