★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in for a beard trim. I made it very clear that I just wanted the minimum amount removed to clean up the lines a bit, that I had grown it long and wanted to keep all the length. With his first cut, the barber cut off half the length of the beard. Literally a year of growth! There was nothing to be done once that was cut off, but then he proceeded to cut my beard into the shape of some caricature movie villain with the chin being four times the length of the sides. When I brushed it later I discovered that the two sides were of very different length. I was a complete hack job. I ended up having to trim my beard right down and start over again to fix what he did. Almost two years of growth gone!
