Naturellement confiant, je suis présenté à ce magasin d’optique pour remettre la branche que je croyais simplement déboîtée. A mon grand étonnement, après un examen très superficiel de la branche et de la monture, l'opticienne a déclaré que j’avais cassé la branche et qu’il n’y avait pas de réparation possible. Elle a même poussé la plaisanterie en disant que je « m’étais battu ». Je comprends mieux le refus de paiement par carte de crédit et l’unique possibilité de paiement en liquide qui permet, notamment et entre autres, d’éluder la responsabilité en matière de garantie, laissant les clients sans preuve d’achat. J’aurais souhaité que ce magasin puisse faire face à ses responsabilités. Entretemps un autre opticien de Binche m’a réparé ma monture, sans frais. Il me comptera désormais parmi ses clients. In May 2017, I bought a pair of glasses there. In June, one of the branches broke away. Naturally confident, I am presented to this optical store to put back the branch that I thought was simply dislocated. To my amazement, after a very cursory examination of the temple and the frame, the optician said that I had broken the temple and that there was no possible repair. She even pushed the joke by saying that I "fought". I understand better the refusal of payment by credit card and the only possibility of payment in cash which allows, in particular and inter alia, to evade the responsibility as regards guarantee, leaving the customers without proof of purchase. I would have liked this store to be able to meet its responsibilities. In the meantime, another Binche optician repaired my frame for me, free of charge. He will now count me among his clients.
