★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of the best kept castles in Belgium. Every room was furnished and decorated like you could still feel how the the old aristocracy once walked around and ruled over this land through wars, battles and charters. You'll discover huge historic paintings in the corridors e.g. the battle of Courtrai, ballrooms, authentic staircases, library, sitting/smoking rooms and bedrooms. The park around the castle is grandious and well maintained, and if you are short of time, you may consider taking a tourist train that takes you around the domain. I personally regret that I did not order a professional guide, which I would highly recommend for any visitor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The park was very beautiful! Made for a great walk. The castle was not open for viewing but it was still nice to walk around the garden area. It was only 4€ per person. Well worth it! They also had brochures in English as well as native languages. Handicap accessible. Dogs on leashes okay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy the whole experience due to covid. The castle (exterior) and the parc are nice, but I couldn't visit the castle and the auxiliary buildings. So 6€ was a waste as you could find better parc around that area for free ... Probably worth it off-covid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You MUST go there.. A beautiful château surrounded with water in front of a beautiful lake with big gardens to walk in.. Every year, depending the weather, they hold a party with ferries and fireworks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun to visit and see a classic castle! But it left me with so many questions, like why doesn't they do any maintenance of the castle or the garden?
I looks the gardener left a few years ago. What happened here?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We expected more, the castle is quite nice but not well maintained which is a shame. The garden is very large but we also expected more. Would be a wonderful venue for weddings, pop up bars, small festivals etc if they maintained the garden a bit more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ for parking go further from main entrance about 100m look left, can eat or drink in restaurant - wc inside, it is possible to visit castle or gardens, entrance fee is fair, park is really big, nice, quiet, there are many ponds and statues, cons: be avare of mud
