Kolejny bardzo dobrze zachowany Sherman na trasie Bitwy o Ardeny.
Generał Bruce Clarke po raz pierwszy zaoferował czołg Sherman miastu Vielsalm w 1976 roku. Został przetransportowany do obecnego miejsca z niemieckiego depozytu Grafenwohr. Jest poświęcony pamięci każdej amerykańskiej jednostki, która walczyła w Saint-Vith podczas bitwy o Ardeny.

Another very well-preserved Sherman on the Battle of the Ardennes route.
General Bruce Clarke first offered the Sherman tank to the city of Vielsalm in 1976. It was transported to its current location from the German Grafenwohr deposit. It is dedicated to the memory of every American unit that fought at Saint-Vith during the Battle of the Ardennes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nette locatie om even te bezoeken . De tank ziet er na al die jaren nog strak netjes uit. Parkeerplaats is er kortbij gelegen (10 meter). Overigens is dit ook een geocache locatie.
Neat location to visit. The tank still looks neat after all these years. Parking is nearby (10 meters). Incidentally, this is also a geocache location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This M4A1 76w Sherman was left behind in December, 44 during the Batlle of the bulge. It was probably left behind because of some mechanical failure and then stripped for parts. It was placed in Vielsalm as a monument to the 7th Armored Division after the war. The Sherman can be found on the N675 road into Vielsalm.
