★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the rip-off of the year: in reality, this ill-equipped and uncomfortable chalet is smaller than shown on the wide-angle photos. Tiny bedrooms under the roof, low-grade Ikea furniture, kitchenware and other equipment, erratic heating with pellet-stoves. On top, the home-built sauna doesn't work properly (door not closing, cold air blowing in between ill-fitted planks), plus strong sewage smells in the bedrooms. Undeserved high rating on Ardennes Etapes location website, unresponsive location service in case of trouble Never again!
However, 1 star in recognition for working hot-tub and warm showers, and for quiet situation in the woods.
