He clearly explained what he was looking at, offered me the chance to provide any documentation that could help the classification, and performed very precise measurments and calculations. The report was ready within two days (!!), and I had a chance to review it and question or provide more documentation if there was anything I didn't agree with. But in my case, I had no complaints. While getting the PEB certificate in itself was necessary to rent or sell my apartment, the real value came in the calculations, showing where my apartment was losing heat, and the recommendations, which contained detailed information of how much energy I could save by performing specific upgrades (e.g. insulating a piece of flat roof) and how that would change the energy classification if I did it. Equally interesting was learning how some "obvious" upgrades mightn't really make much difference at all. I would highly recommend CertiBru based on my experience.
