★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oostduinkerke Communal Cemetery has a Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) plot containing casualties from World War Two. The majority of the casualties are from Operation Dynamo (Dunkirk Evacuation ). There are casualties from the Dieppe raid. It contains aiirforce and naval casualties mixed with army casualties from throughout WW2. The cemetery is maintained to the high standards CWGC. Beautifully kept lawns and well maintained headstones. It is a quiet, tranquil place for those who lost their lives so violently to rest in peace.
