★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Erg mooi 16-eeuws slot om even omheen te lopen. Je kunt er niet in volgens mij, maar niemand die je in de weg staat als je er even de oprijlaan opdraait en er een kijkje neemt. Ziet er fraai en authentiek uit.
Very nice 16th century castle to walk around. I don't think you can get in, but no one will get in your way if you turn onto the driveway and take a look. Looks beautiful and authentic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine Wasserburg. Laut Volksmund entwickelte sich der Name aus dem lateinischen "libera me" ("Befreie mich"). Die älteste Erwähnung datiert im Jahre 1334 als Lehnsgut des Aachener Marienstifts.
Im 16. Jahrhundert umgebaut, 1684 von französischen Truppen niedergebrannt, dann wieder aufgebaut.
Im 18. Jahrhundert erneut abgebrannt und aufgebaut.
Zu Beginn der 1920er Jahre komplett renoviert. Heute Institut für internationales Steuerrecht. Es werden auch Konzerte ausgetragen.
A moated castle. According to the vernacular, the name developed from the Latin "libera me" ("free me"). The oldest mention dates back to 1334 as a fief of the Aachen Marienstift.
Rebuilt in the 16th century, burned down by French troops in 1684, then rebuilt.
Burned down and rebuilt in the 18th century.

Sevgili dünürüm sevgili eşim ve ben o gün çevrede 9,5 km bir yürüyüşün sonun bu fotoğraflar çekildi. Yayınlayacağım resimlerde ŞATO'nun orjinal tarihini bulacaksınız. Yapılış tarihindende anlaşılacağı üzere çok çok eski adeta yaşayan bir tarih. Görmek yazılanlara ve anlatılanlara asla benzemiyor.
It is a very old SHAT, located in a neighborhood of Eupen on the German border with Belgium. A CHATO used by the descendants of the first deluders. I took pictures with permission. My beloved world-beloved wife and I took these photos at the end of a walk of 9.5 km around that day. In the pictures I will publish, you will find the original date of ŞATO.
