I had the opportunity to take a look through a passing guy. It is dark and almost unsanitary. How can we offer this kind of accommodation in Brussels? Is there no control?

I stayed at the beginning of the Town camping adventure for the owners. I stayed 2 months there. I enjoyed my visit. Indeed, it's a bit rustic, there are few private spaces (as we can read these reviews in the other comments) but the photos, the description of the place and the price for this place are more than adequate to the experience one can live there. It is an economical solution for people who enjoy life in community. I recommend this place but still advises to be well informed before deciding to stay (history not to complain about the lack of private corners, lack of light, ...) For my part, if I need to return in the future, I will return! :)

Should not be called a camping. It's a ruffy parkingplace.

I'm living in Camping since almost two months. The flat is original, quiet, inspiring and full of potential, the people that I met here are open, kind and friendly. The position is really comfortable, 15 minutes walking from the heart of the city and 2 minutes from the metro station and the beautiful Botanique garden. The neighborhood is well served, with plenty of markets. And the rent is cheap, also! Perfect place to create, to meet new people, to live in a community and to experience the city of Brussels.

I had a great time living at Camping Town and met many cool people! It’s a unique cohabitation project and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in a different way of living together. Sleeping in the artfully carpentered cabins is truly almost like camping; it’s also impressively quiet and dark during night and in the morning you wake up with the songs of the birds. You really forget that you are in the city centre of Brussels! Once the week you have the possibility to visit Camping Town – even if you don’t want to move in. If you are interested in this, have a look at the website to check the next date. I’m so glad that I found this place – thanks to the owner for putting so much effort in constructing it! Looking forward that this concept becomes more popular also in other cities.
