D	Dee D. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit outside of Gent but near the high way. Room is very standard/basic, but you got what you need basically. No fridge and furniture are old, but you will not fall down from the bed and a drinks snacks machine at reception/restaurant/bar. The lady at reception was not very friendly but the gentleman one was. Bus stop near by.
S	Simone James on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid – Avoid –Avoid! 1.You and your property are not safe! 2.Nobody replies to your concerns or complaint. 3.This hotel does not even deserve 2 stars. Reception gave a key card to our room to a complete stranger, who stood in front of our bed at midnight and frightened the life out of us. No apology, nothing. Despite registering concerns with reception and 3 further emails! This person could have easily helped themselves to our possessions, had we not been in the room. I will not even mention the rest as the management clearly have no interest in providing even the most basic customer service. £60 for this ??? Shocking!
j	ja kennedy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel staff are very helpful we had a mix up with our booking the reception staff rang and found us some where to stay. following day we stayed at campanile again they was very helpful and cleaned our room right away for us to check in, beds was comfortable and was made to feel very welcome the guys at the reception are very polite and always willing to help. Would definitely recommend and return here.
R	Robin Krumm on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The motel itself is okay, the bed was a king size one, a small coffee/tee station , everything was a bit old and used, but clean and not damaged. The restaurant and the service orientation was a mess. Stayed here for four nights and they were -not even on one day-to manage the orders correctly, even taking orders can need an hour. And don't expect waving to the servant would help.... Breakfast is okay, but dinner was the worse service experience I ever had on all my business trips.

Very old and shabby room, dirty and noisy from the chemical factory that is just opposite. There is also mould on the walls and a really unpleasant smell which most likely comes from the fact that this room has not been updated for many many many years. I didn’t look too closely in the corners as otherwise probably wouldn’t be able to close my eyes during the night. I guess it’s Ok for one night if you don’t find anything else, don’t want to spend a few € more or don’t mind low standards. Also I don’t think this should be 2 stars...

The cleaning staff would not come into our room everyday for some reason so we would have to go out and ask for that ourselves. The bed was pretty uncomfortable and I'm pretty sure it had some bugs in it because each day I would wake up with bites all over my body (and I was fully covered by the blanket so no outside bugs could've done it). The food they had there was pretty great though, and you could order it pretty much any time you want. Overall, it's not worth the price and the location is pretty bad too, would not recommend.

But unfortunately the room was extremely moist, smelled of smoke and it was cold. Apparently you had to pre-book breakfast which wasn't informed. To top that off we had an unpleasant experience with the receptionist who my travel companion had an argument with and when I went in to try to clear things up it ended up with the receptionist threatening to report me to Booking. So don't worry, I won't be back.
