★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waiter recommend we have a 1 litre of filtered tap water instead of the mineral water we asked for initially and charged us 7 euros for it! The lady behind the bar that appeared to be the boss was particularly rude. Service was very slow although the place was empty. Food is rather average to poor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect place. Untill I went over to the counter and asked for the bill. Some elderly chap, acting like the boss, said in German :"Can't you see there is no cash register here?! you have to pay somewhere else". I think this is a very, very rude way to talk to a guest. Luckily one of the serving girls, came over and of course I could pay RIGHT THERE on the spot. So minus 5 starS for the elderly guy and for the other staff I just hope he treats them better than he treats his customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a nice vegan breakfast plate there which was serviced with bread, jam, creams, veggies and salat. Everything was real nice and coffee good as well. Can recommend for a vegan option!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderfully arranged restaurant along the road in the Eifel area where you can find food based on local products. We were in the terrace, a lovely place to be around when the weather allows it. Inside is very cozy, with a c big chimney for the winter period. The service was really attentive and friendly. We ordered the Boulettes Liegeoises and the bacon onion flammkuchen. Both dishes were prepared rib care and were very delicious, with enough portion size to make you happy. The best place around the area to make a stop after hiking in the Eifel.
Bonus: no WiFi! So you need to talk to each other.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lunch after a snow hike. Wonderful and cozy setting, really good food and very friendly staff. The vegan plate and deer steak were delicious. Also the coffee and kuchen were excellent. We will go back soon
