Terrible service and the food is average. but it is the only place around which makes it successfull i guess..we eat there4 times and each time it was very dissapointing.. we tried to go back end august 2020 and this older waiter did not welcome us well! He was so unfriendly that we did not go lunch there! We were6 people!! They should replace this rude waiter!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional Flemish cuisine in a restored castle. The setting is very pretty, especially in times of good weather when you can use the terrace. The food is solid, especially if you stick with the Flemish classics. Service was excellent. Interior is maybe a little bland. Overall a nice place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place and friendly service but... Low quality and burned coffee, industrial whipped cream. Pity. It could be a beautiful place with better food (without being of course a 4 star, you have to find the happy medium), a place where you can enjoy the quiet and nice view accompanied by good coffee as there are in some cities like Vienna or lisbon for example. Be proud of your magnificent region by offering quality products and not from standard industrial. A question not only for you but for a lot of Flanders place: why in Belgium it is more and more difficult to have a real good coffee when the best coffee in the world goes through the port of Antwerp? Do not take a criticism for the negative, all criticism is constructive to be even better :) Salutations.
