G	Gerald Hanisch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of my go-to restaurants in Leuven. We always enjoy it. If you have the chance to sit on the balcony overlooking the lake, it seems like pure paradise on a nice summer day.
j	jeroen B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this place. We wanted to sit down for a few drinks quick bite to eat. The waiter didn't even make eye contact when waving to the back of the restaurant. When asking if we could have a table outside the waiter said he'd wiped the tables dry 4x already and wasn't going to do it again... Just so you know. We even offered to wipe the tables ourselves. We are sat somewhere else now and it hasn't rained since. The staff is lazy, arrogant and need to look up the words "service" & "hospitality" in the dictionary.

I asked for a table where I could have a cup of coffee but the waiter told me I can't get a table if I order only a beverage. At this moment I should have just gone away, but it was raining quite heavily, so I said I would order a dessert along with the coffee. The choice of desserts was very poor, and the waiter didn't even try to recommend anything to me. I paid 14 euros for a coffee and a dessert. That is mind-blowing. Especially taking into account such a service.

After two beautiful weeks spent in Belgium this was the only horrible experience. So tourists and visitors from a foreign country beware, the local staff will let you taste who is the "Master" there ...

I do wanna come back and taste more from their menu. The abdijbrouberij produces a beer only sold locally that makes the entire visit worth it, only to taste it. I'll be back, for sure.

L	Libor Vavřík on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On Sunday, November 7, after visiting the beautiful abbey, we headed to your brasserie for lunch. It was a really big mistake. The restaurant was almost full. Nevertheless, it is unthinkable to get a menu after 20 minutes of waiting, after several urgencies. It wasn't until we were about to leave. The staff was clearly unfriendly. His English is not very good. I wanted to recommend a fruit-flavored beer and got a cider. My chicken pasta was cold. The tastes were average. My two companions got vegetarian lasagna hot. Both developed severe diarrhea within 30 minutes of ingesting the food. A visit to this company was a very unpleasant end to our holiday in Belgium.
