a few days ago, i bought some items from bouvy, i was disappointed by one of the saleswoman, natalie i think. She did not want to re-sell one of the two undersized shirts that I bought, simply because it no longer had a label. She didn't even apologize and told me that "I just had to sell it" ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Produits mal présentés, vendeurs qui regardent les trains passer mais ne vous demandent pas si ils peuvent vous aider, quoiqu’il est peut-être préférable qu’ils évitent de parler au vu du niveau des réponses reçues. Lamentable
Poorly presented products, vendors who watch the trains go by but don't ask if they can help, although it may be best if they don't talk given the level of response received. lamentable

I was trying a garment in the changing room, when a customer, sent by the saleswoman to try on something, approached and realised I was inside. I heard him tell her the changing room was occupied. For some reason, the saleswoman did not believe the customer (first faux-pas) and came and actually peeped in to confirm. She actually looked inside while I was in the changing room! What is this, pre-school?
What amateur staff who misguidedly think highly of themselves. Nothing like the rest of the real classy shops on the street, where staff are professional, courteous and well-mannered.
And to pre-empt the generic response by the clueless owner: no it was not a “misunderstanding”. A dictionary would be key in explaining why.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was treated badly by a rude, boisterous salesman. I felt like the scum of the earth. Let me tell you what happened:
I went to this store today in search of a perfume for my girlfriend. Upon entering, a tall, blond salesman ("salesMEAN"?) inspected me from head to toe with an expression of disgust. Since there was a sign saying " 50% - 60%" on the door, I inquired wether the perfume was on sale. His curt and snarky response was "Jamais" (never!). Throughout our interaction, he never stopped folding the clothes in front of him to help (or even face) us.
Since I was wearing jeans and not a three-piece Valentino suit, I guess I was not worth his time of day - at least not as much as the shirt in front of him.
I do hope the Viking salesman does not work on commission, as I have alerted all those I know from the diplomatic corps not to shop at this store. No matter how much they dress up this guy, he'll never know true elegance.

I went in 4 months ago because I wanted to buy a pair o Carlos Santos that they had exposed. They were 3 sales men talking to each other... (in a boutique like this the salesman will come and ask if you nead advice!) I went and asked for a certain line if they had a wider last... he saw me from head to toe and told me to go at John Lobb and buy a pair of bespoke... bad answer.. I felt that bad that I left... i told myself it could be a bad moment ... I went back after 3 months and had a similarly bad service when I asked the sales man for advice on the exact same pair...
I went Out and I went into another boutique that sells Carlos Santos inside the galerie at 200 meters and bought the pair! That's how to lose money!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have good collection but beware the size they put on the store tag is French size but not Italian size. I bought a coat that said 36 on the store tag but when I went home I found it was Italian 40 on the coat. What I needed is Italian 36. I wanted to exchange but the salespeople were unwilling to help. They just said they didn’t have the smaller size...It frustrates and confuses customers. And their attitude makes me feel like I will not shop there anymore.
