★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was here a few years ago, but tonight was far behind the previous experience.
The place is supposed to be French bistro style. Looking at the menu and pricing this is also one’s expectation. Our appetizers were OK, the scallops on caramellized onions were tasty and the shrimp croquettes were also yummy.
The bread was a complete disappointment, felt like Lidl’s buns from the adjacent St Gery.
Our main dishes were well below expectations. The duo de solette was oily, the avodavo, salmon & goat cheese salad was just average. The quality was similar to Belgocatering’s lunch menu standard in our company cafeteria in Vilvoorde, which is disappointing if you were expecting sophisticated French bistro style dishes.
The service was friendly and quick, but still, it is unlikely that we would return anytime soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bonsoir Clara never fails. Rack of lamb has both the taste and the look. The kitchen is open until later than most restaurants in town, which makes it perfect for late eaters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came to Bonsoir Clara on a Thursday (19:30) and had no trouble getting a table for 2. The food was nice with ok prices. The waiter for our table was quite unpleasant however: he practically threw our bill on the table and did not seem to care if we enjoyed our meal. Despite this, we enjoyed our evening due to the tasty food and lovely ambiance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a table for four for New Years night. Our server was very nice and attentive, the food was to our liking. However, we left a little disappointed whenever we had asked for dessert at 10:45 and we were told we couldn’t be served because they need to close the doors at 11:00 pm.
However, the table next to us was told: ‘you would have to eat it very fast.’ They were served desert and ate it and they were still inside the restaurant when we had departed (around 11pm). It was disappointing to see that others were served dessert, and we were told that’s not possible. We went there for the experience, not the food per say.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here for New year's eve with friends and was a good experience. The attention was fast and correct. Wine good. Food and dessert very correct. It was a bit expensive to me but it was a special night. The place itself looks cool and has a nice atmosphere.
