★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ter herinnering aan de 150ste verjaardag van de geboorte van Mahatma Gandhi schonk de Republiek Indië dit mooie standbeeld aan de stad Antwerpen. De ambassadeur van Indië was aanwezig bij de inhuldiging op 02/10/2020. Van Vlaamse kant waren aanwezig de Gouverneur van de provincie Antwerpen , mevrouw Cathy Berx , de burgemeester van Antwerpen ,de heer Bart De Wever alsmede mevrouw de schepen Nabilla Ait Daoud. De stad bezorgde het standbeeld een absolute
toplocatie aan het Justitiepaleis.
 To commemorate the 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi's birth, the Republic of India donated this beautiful statue to the city of Antwerp. The Ambassador of the Indies was present at the inauguration on 02/10/2020. On the Flemish side, the Governor of the Province of Antwerp, Mrs. Cathy Berx, the Mayor of Antwerp, Mr. Bart De Wever and Mrs. de Aldermen Nabilla Ait Daoud were present. The city gave the statue an absolute
prime location at the Justice Palace.
