Basic-Fit Antwerpen Middelheim

I went for the first time at Basic fit Middelheim. Awesome service and a good vibe. My leg workout was completed ??

I have never met a more stupid manager in my life!! I don't know her name, but I think, being that stupid, neither does she, but she was the manager today on Thursday , august 13 at 15:30. I came to play squash as I usually do there, but she said that I couldn't play because the bankcard reader to receive money wasn't working and they don't accept cash. Only if I had a reservation which was the case of someone else. So I asked to make me a reservation for 16:00, because the 2 courts were empty anyhow, and she said that she couldn't, and when I asked how the other person which had a reservation would pay, she said that she would have to let him play for free because it wasn't his fault that the machine didn't work. So I asked if I could also play for free since I was there and it wasn't my fault and if not free, that I would pay cash and she can settle it later with her card etc, and of course she said no, when i asked for her superior, she said she was the most superior person there, and then I said that it was a shame, because if she is the most intelligent comercial person there, then the rest, must be completely hopeless, and I asked her to stand before a mirror and say the same things that she was syaing to me and be on the other side and realise how completely and utterly stupid she sounded. BASIC FIT, I know you don't hire rocket scientists, but common, set the standards at least to a bit more than COMPLETE IDIOTS... By the way that young woman was actually training someone, common, !!!!! training her to be what?? A comercial idiot

A nice gym at the University campus, more of cardio equipment and less of weight machines as compared to other outlets of basic fit. Make sure to have a reservation before you go via the application.

The typical Basic Fit gym setting (all sorts of equipment, no supervision by trainers but it is possible to get a personal trainer, locker room with showers). It is inside Middleheim campus. It is possible to rent the a futsal field, badminton and squash courts. There is also several types of live and virtual fitness classes. During university holidays, it is less busy. Among these sort of gyms, it is the one I like the most so far.

More than 8years now and still for me the best club!! Warm welcome clean areas and changing room, lots of light and space!! For all those reasons I keep going there even if o have other on a closest home! Keep doing this Sandy you are a great manager! Middelheim best club of ANTWERP region

Mostly well equipped and clean location but a few issues are holding it back. The weight plates (technogym) are old and starting to vulcanize - meaning the rubber is sticky and difficult to put them on and off the bar. Several of the machines are showing their age and have small defects. Deadlift station is nowhere near a mirror for form check. Overall the location has a convoluted layout.
