Beau petit endroit pour s'arrêter, équipé pour les enfants. Les gâteaux ont l'air délicieux. Mais c'est horriblement CHER. 6 euros pour un petit pain avec une tranche de ? à côté, la soupe est bonne mais c'est 4,5 euros sans pain à côté.

Stukje heel lekkere taart voor u tegen te zeggen met heerlijke koffie. Lokale mensen doen super hun best je te bedienen in het nederlands. Gezellig , speeltuinen voor kleintjes. Brood, koeken ,taart en veel lekkers.

Zoals altijd goede kwaliteit voor een mooie prijs. Nieuwe inrichting zeer geslaagd. Veel succes gewenst

Worst customer experience ever. I was biking the Vennbahn and decided to stop there for breakfast. I sat and ordered outside. When I went inside to pay, the waitress told me that I could only pay cash. I thought it was a joke. She hadn't told me when I arrived nor when I ordered. The only hint I could get was a very small sign on the wall stating "nur barzahlung" which, even if you fluently speak French, Dutch and English, doesn't ring a bell. The only ATM was 10km away. I was quite upset and couldn't believe that some places in 2020 still did not accept card payments especially during the covid pandemic (as an asthma patient, I am also particularly at risk) but nevertheless, I proposed to make a bank transfer, which I could do immediately since I had my phone and digipass with me. The owner would not show any understanding and decline the transfer. I had to bike all the way uphill on the highway with cars driving past me really fast and dangerously under 35°C. Moreover, I lost 1h of my day, which is a lot especially when you are doing a bike tour through the country and you need to get to a certain place to sleep. It completely messed up my schedule. Once back, the staff did not even apologise for the inconvenience once!!! Some takeaways they could learn from: as you are located next to the Vennbahn, your only guests are tourists and most of them don't speak German. ==> If you don't have an ATM in the village, don't exclude card payments as your customers have to bike up the hill and waste 1h of their day ==> If you still want to exclude card payments, you have to tell your customers before they order! Or at least have signs in other languages than German since you are in such a touristic spot!! This way they can still make up their mind and leave! The owner even had the audacity to request my identity card when I left to get cash. Maybe if you treated your customers better, they would not leave without paying and you wouldn't have to treat them so badly.
