★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wärmste Empfehlung für dieses schönes B&B. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und das Frühstück einfach himmlisch (Stichwort: ‚Klein aber Fein‘). Ich war bereits 2x dort und würde jederzeit wieder hinfahren!
 Warmest recommendation for this beautiful B & B. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast just heavenly (keyword: 'small but fine'). I've been there twice and would go back anytime!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt für drei Tage im Zimmer Vesalius für mich (1 Person). Ca. 400 Jahre alte Haus mit viel Geschmack für Vermietung gänzlich renoviert, daher kleines Zimmer mit Blick auf Garten, aber modern und zum alten Stil passend ausgestattet mit Nasszelle (Dusche und WC). Das ganze Haus ist sehr sauber und auch der Garten, wo mensch sich in der wärmeren Jahreszeit aufhalten könnte, gepflegt. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich der Frühstücksraum, wo ein äußerst leckeres und ausgiebiges Frühstück vom Vermieter liebevoll serviert wird. Auf Wunsch z.B. Ei - egal wie zubereitet - von zwei eigenen Hühnern am hinteren Ende im Garten). Ein äußerst ruhiger Aufenthaltsort zum Entspannen etwa nach einer anstrengenderen Reise nach Löwen bzw. Konferenzbesuch oder Besichtigung in Belgien. Vom Bahnhof ist es aber doch bis zu einer halben Stunde zu Fuß, es gäbe aber auch einen öffentlichen Bus.
Very pleasant stay for three days in the room Vesalius for me (1 person). Approximately 400 year old house with much taste for rent completely renovated, therefore small room overlooking garden, but modern and old style fitting equipped with wet room (shower and toilet). The whole house is very clean and the garden, where you could spend the warmer months, maintained. The ground floor is the breakfast room, where a very delicious and hearty breakfast from the landlord lovingly served. If desired, e.g. Egg - no matter how prepared - from two own chickens at the back end in the garden). A very quiet place to relax, for example, after a strenuous trip to Leuven or conference visit or visit to Belgium. From the train station but it is up to half an hour walk, but there is also a public bus.

Friendly host. Atmospheric, authentic, yet modern and neatly finished. Delicious breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a wonderful retreat in an old building that has been tastefully renovated. The guest rooms have been modernized but still retain high beamed ceilings and wooden floors alongside satellite TV, double-glazed windows, and a bathroom with a rainfall showerhead in the roomy shower. My room was quiet and faced the lovely back garden. The owner is a gracious host and very helpful. Breakfast included fresh fruit, cereals, cold meats, breads, pastries, juice, and eggs on offer, and the table settings use linen placemats and serviettes.
The owner also is eco-conscious, with solar panels, a composting system and his own hens.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My parents stayed at the guesthouse when visiting Leuven for a few days in the summer. It was a very convenient location, a nice room, with very nice breakfast. But the best part really were the owners, who went absolutely out of their way to help in any possible manner, whenever something came up -- even if it was not totally outside of their responsibility. It is a super friendly place, highly recommend to everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place to stay at Leuven. Guesthouse is located next to the amazing attraction Groot Begijnhof Leuven. Service is amazing, rooms are clean and the house has a great atmosphere, combination of an old building with modern interiors. Also you can count on the owners who are very friendly and supportive. Additional plus is breakfast with fresh and ecological food.
