★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kortweg een ramp om te bevallen omwille van de nazorg. Zelfs medische mensen( artsen en verpleegkundigen) zeiden dat AZ Diest niet de beste plaats is om te bevallen. Wil mijn fatsoen behouden vandaar ik niet te veel schrijf. 1 ding is heel spijtig, nadat we vroegen om een dag langer in het ziekenhuis te verblijven zodat ons kind de nodige zorgen kon krijgen, moesten we toch vertrekken. Een week later krijgen we tel om opgenomen te worden na controle van de kinderarts voor de behandeling waar we zelf eerder achter de vroegen. Kortom. Er wordt niet naar je geluisterd, zelfs niet in overleg..... Mij, m'n gezin of familie zien ze hier nooit meer voor belangrijke zorgen. Heb 1 ding neergeschreven wat we mee maakten van de vele andere.
In short, a disaster to give birth because of the aftercare. Even medical people (doctors and nurses) said that AZ Diest is not the best place to give birth. Want to keep my decency hence I don't write too much. One thing is very unfortunate, after we asked to stay a day longer in the hospital so that our child could receive the necessary care, we still had to leave. A week later we get count to be admitted after a check-up by the pediatrician for the treatment that we asked ourselves earlier. In short. You will not be listened to, not even in consultation ..... They will never see me, my family or relatives here for major concerns. I wrote down one thing that we experienced from the many others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't be judged by the outer appearance of the building as inside are different (a lot modern). The importance are how the hospital personals treats you and the execution of their tasks. From my experiences it was one of best experience which i experienced as a patient. They are super friendly, attentive and helpful.
They definitely made me feel at ease (also mentally) when I went through my operation (before, during and after). I definitely recommend this small yet cozy hospital. Especially if you need some spaces and I love the bed as it's super comfortable ?
