Maar mijn blijdschap was van korte duur men planning in het mooie chalet van Le jardin d’en haut was in het water gevallen. Is het omdat ik Bilal heet? Men broer Hamza? Men neef Youssef? Schrikt het zo hard af? Om ons dan zo discrimineel te behandelen en ons te weigeren in hen Chalet dat gaat er bij mij niet in Als wij daadwerkelijk willen werken naar een multiculturele samenleving, de superdiversiteit, dan is de eerste stap om mensen niet meer in kotjes te steken en met de vinger te wijzen naar hen. But my joy was short-lived and my planning in the beautiful chalet of Le jardin d'en haut had fallen into the water. Is it because my name is Bilal? My brother Hamza? My cousin Youssef? Does it scare you that hard? M	Marijn Debecker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huisje gereserveerd voor 14 personen. Bij reservatie kwam meteen de vraag om leeftijden in te vullen (vond ik al wat raar), maar toen kwam het beste. Bleek dat enkel familiale groepen welkom zijn (enorm onduidelijk vermeldt op de website) in het merendeel van de woningen die ze verhuren, wegens enkele slechte ervaringen. Sorry, maar niet alle jongeren/niet familiale groepen zijn effectief zo. Om nog maar te zwijgen over discriminatie. Sedert wanneer mag men groepen op voorhand weigeren bij verhuur? EDIT op reactie review: ik citeer mijn eigen e-mail: "we voorzien wel een streepje muziek (kleine installatie) wanneer we aan het zwembad chillen. Wist niet dat je niet wat achtergrond muziek mocht spelen in de namiddag aan een zwembad? De regeltjes worden hier precies zelf gecreëerd. We betreuren de vorm en inhoud? Grappig wel, zo'n standaard tekstje bij een negatieve review. Gemiste kans! Cottage reserved for 14 people. It turned out that only family groups are welcome (not stated very clearly on the website) in the majority of the homes they rent out, due to some bad experiences. Sorry, but not all youth/non-family groups are effectively like this. Not to mention discrimination. Since when can groups be refused in advance when renting? EDIT on comment review: I quote my own email: "we do provide a dash of music (small installation) when we chill by the pool. Didn't know that you were not allowed to play some background music in the afternoon at a pool? The rules are created right here. We regret the form and content? Funny, such a standard text with a negative review. Missed opportunity!

Z	Zakaria on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ruined my vacation, LOOK FOR ANOTHER AGENCY: there are PLENTY others in the Ardennen - Made me pay €1900 saying that it was OK - Last minute before my trip there called me saying they don’t want us anymore, for literally no reason they couldn’t have given us A LOT SOONER - Had to find something else for my vacation within just a few hours (are you kidding me?) - AFTER THEY CALLED ME they still sent me MULTIPLE messages of approval and saying that I could go. They even sent me the route description and “toegangsbewijs” (proof for entry) Extremely unprofessional. Also had to wait 5 days to get my money back. Well done ruining our vacation budget and planning. Do not go here, take another agency or just Airbnb. That is A LOT more trustworthy.

The last time we tried, we booked and paid the full amount, just to receive a phonecall short after that the host didn't want our group there. When we asked for a reason why, they didn't gave us one and hung up the phone. Just don't book this!!
