A really nice museum with a large aquarium and thousands of animals. The feel of the museum is awesome... It's like being thrown back into time... In a good way! Absolutely recommended with children! Low entry fee.

The museum is part of the university of Liege, which makes that the collection of stuffed animals is massive. The museum did their best to showcase them in an interesting way, with a variety of skeletons as well. The aquarium is small but nice to walk through. As read in previous reviews, they showcase some sharks and big fishes as well... A bit sad to see the dimensions of the aquaria in comparison with their sizes... As was mentioned before...

Excellent museum. A lot to see. We spent a wonderful 2 hours exploring and enjoying all the stuffed animals and skeletons and of course the many fish in the aquariums. Highly recommended

Nice museum. Although it would have been a nicer experience if they offered descriptions in English. Except for some names that were translated into dutch and English here and there everything else was in French. So not the most tourist friendly.

Interesting museum/aquarium. The building consists of two main floors. They host a big number of stuffed animals on the upper floor from insect life to birds and mammals. Additionally the basement contains a beautiful collection of aquaria including the fish from "finding nemo" and some exotic "eyeless" fish from dark caves. You can travel between the floors via stairs or escalator. An average visit will likely take anywhere between 1 to 3 hours.

Very nice and educational place, we parked at parkingstpaul.be without problems, walking alongside river was fine, museum was free of people, wc available, super entry fee, very good English speaking receptionist, can buy drinks/coffee and some refreshments from wending machines, can spend 2 to 3 hours inside, there is a scientist "museum" right inside the builing with a plenty of smart doings for kids

Even despite covid regulation it was a great place with a nice atmosphere. Amazing aquarium and also a great museum part.
