★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Na 1,5 jaar, ivm de lockdown, kon ik mijn moeder eindelijk haar verjaardagscadeau aanbieden; een weekendje Antwerpen met de welbekende fiets tour. De Koninck tour die ik in eerste instantie voor mijn moeder had geboekt ging, wegens omstandigheden, niet door. Steven, onze gids, heeft dat echter zo lief opgelost door mijn moeder een presentje -speciaal bier- uit een van de lokale brouwerijen aan te bieden. Het begon dus al goed. De classic fietstour is ook echt de moeite waard. Na afloop van de tour heeft Steven zeker 10 kroegen, eetcafés en cocktailbars aangeraden en hebben we er 5 kunnen bezoeken. Genoeg reden om weer terug te komen dus. Steven, bedankt voor je gezellige, levendige, indrukwekkende, boeiende maar ook zeer leerzame tour door (H)Antwerpen. We hebben van en met je genoten en zijn weer een hoop ervaringen en weetjes rijker. Van mij krijg je een 10 met een griffel, ook namens mijn mama. Groet en dikke kus, Demi!
After 1.5 years, due to the lockdown, I could finally offer my mother her birthday present; a weekend in Antwerp with the well-known bicycle tour. The Koninck tour that I had initially booked for my mother was canceled due to circumstances. However, Steven, our guide, has kindly solved that by offering my mother a present -special beer- from one of the local breweries. So it started well. The classic bike tour is also really worth it. After the tour, Steven recommended at least 10 pubs, eateries and cocktail bars and we were able to visit 5 of them. Enough reason to come back again. Steven, thank you for your pleasant, lively, impressive, fascinating but also very instructive tour through (H) Antwerp. We have enjoyed and with you and have again gained a lot of experiences and facts. You get a 10 from me with a pencil, also on behalf of my mom. Greetings and big kiss, Demi!
