★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the opportunity to change job. Until then I didn't need to speak French. I learned French more than 30 years ago so my level was very low. So, Isabelle and I started with a video language course. The problem was that I didn't dare to speak. So we started with the rules and the writing and I learned a lot of grammar and vocabulary in a short time because Isabelle adapted her documentation and teaching material every week according to my progress. But I still was not ready to speak. So, she started with little drawings, games, pictures, cross-words, role-plays ...... and finally she made me talk! After 3 series of classes I had a very good level. I did my exams for the job and achieved B2 100%. I got the job only thanks to her effort, insight and tenacity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend Isabelle as a language teacher. She makes you feel comfortable and gives confidence that she can really give the right support and guidance to help build competence. She is a good listener, often checking understanding and will explain clearly when mistakes are made and gives encouragement when you do something well. Each lesson leaves me knowing the French language more and looking forward to the next lesson. John M.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Isabelle uses a variety of approaches tailored to my level and speed of learning. In my case this is an effective mix of more formal methods to learn grammar, conversational role-play to improve ability to communicate in real-life situations and discussions about articles and topics to widen my vocabulary. Repetition of common words and phrases helps me to get the basics right. Isabelle makes the lessons interesting and varied and deals with my regular mistakes with a smile and gentle reminder of what I should have said. The lesson summaries are really useful - she sends these directly after each lesson as a reminder of the key new words, phrases and grammar that we have covered and she also highlight any regular mistakes I should work on in between lessons. She sets exercises to do between lessons but will adjust the lessons if I have not had time to do them. An excellent French teacher!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After studying with few different teachers, when I started my lessons with Isabelle, me and especially my colleagues were surprised about how quickly my French was improving. Learning a new languages it is never easy at all, therefore you need a demanding teacher who listen and motivate you, but at the same time make the lesson funny and never boring at all. Really professional and passionate. I will always be grateful to her.
