β β β β β Excellent fine dining (photos with the comment are ordered from bottom to top) The modern look of the resto still did not forget important details (like a ceiling to decrease sounds, an elevator for those who need this, a kitchen with a window so you could see the cooking,...). We came across this resto with the special promotion of "dining with the stars". Every single dish was refined, even the bread was extra-ordinary, the butter was beautifully presented. There was toast with tzaidziki (but not as you know it, a really refined version), the appetizers (mussels, spicy soup with tomato & paprika nicely finished with a creamy spuma and taco's with smoked spicy chicken).
The first course: mackerel was grilled with a crusty skin with sea salt and tomatos with apple capers. The second course was sea brass with clamps and rucola and zucchini's. The main course was perfectly cooked duck with a puree of pumpkin & carrots, the aspargus, carrots & parsnip had this perfect little bite, the slices of carrots & radish were marinated and slightly sour, this dish came with an oriental tasting quinoa and a sauce which was sooo good, we really adored the sauce.
Nice touch is the possibility to order customized wines by glass or even by half glass.
The dessert with "baba au rum" was infused with coconut, the mascarpone and the sourness of the mango & passion fruit with coconut ice made this a great dessert (although I am not so much for sweet tastes I really enjoyed this dessert). Definitely a place to go back !
