Good campsite for travellers passing through. The campsite is not in the best condition compared to others out there but choices are limited in Brussels. Quite a bike ride to the city centre but public transport is "fairly" nearby. Good internet access on site. Toilets are facilities are acceptable but certainly not 5 star. Childrens facilities are acceptable but nothing to rant home about. All in all suitable for a night or two but I did not get the feeling I would stay a while or the staff were not the friendliest.

Reserved in advance, but was put at the back of the campground amongst a literal junk pile...There were other better spots open, but if they were all reserved before us, they should have had the decency to inform us of the condition of the pitch, then give us a choice to take it or move on. We definitely would have moved on had they not already taken our money in full. Also, this site is located near a major airport... large planes taking off nonstop. Go somewhere else to camp!

I stayed here for a week June 2018 despite what I read in some of the reviews, all true by the way, the site is actually pretty good. Its very close to Brussels and the rail network, supermarket is approx 2 km away. However if your looking for plush lawns amazing shower blocks and level pitches and English spoken staff then this is not the place for you. Its clean and tidy ish and can be a little noisey with air traffic as its quite close to the airport, however I had a great relaxing stay and would def recommend as a good stopover for Brussels.

I have been to many campsites in My thirty years of camping and I have seen some excellent, good, fair and bad ones. This was unfortunately one of the bad ones. What is amazing about this campsite is the HIGHTECH entrance gates but real amazement is the terrible state of the place. Roads/dirt tracks are full of potholes the camping pitches are unkempt grass pitches full of mole hills. The place look like an unfinished building site. The toilets are very basic and were not very clean but there was plenty of hot warter. No noise was noticed from the airport but with the wrong wind direction you could hear the ring road quite clearly. The club house was always closed. There are no shops nearby. There is a Carfour about 2km away so if you want fresh bread for the morning a bike is a must. The bus Station is next to the Carfour shop the metro about 3 km from the campsite. WIFI is offered but it is only available near the club house so if you wanted to use the internet and it is raining take a waterproof tablet or handy with you because there is no shelter. A Campsite in a posh area which is totally useless for visiting Brussels. Very little English spoken no German.

Camping located near Brussels Airport - flights landing/departure almost 5 min between. The showers dirty and no paper in the toilets. We were also located next besides the service area where all were doing their dishes...outside!! And kept this until very late at nights! There were no rules on what to do when etc. If we knew about this we would have not stayed there at all!

If you are on a stop over please don't let the reviews put you off. We stayed here 2nd and 3rd July 2017 and we visited Brussels in the day time. The friendly and the helpful tips we got during the reception and booking in enabled us to find the most wonderful places in Brussels that we did not know were there. The booking in was easy the staff were really good, some had better English than others but we were able to communicate. The bar was. Lean and they sold a variety of beers and soft drinks. There were a few play things for the kids. Trampoline and slide, not in the best condition but kids on site were using them. The facilities were adequate for a stopover but not as clean as I have seen on a site.

We stayed here in our camper for 2 nights, it's a small but friendly site with spacious pitches and an easily navigable layout. The facilities are clean and relatively modern, if a little small. There is a main clubhouse with a large, well-stocked bar - we didn't frequent, however, due to site being quiet at the time of our visit. Kraainem metro is just 3km away with ample parking if you elect to drive - we walked and it took 40mins. The metro is only 2euros a ticket into the centre so you can avoid the extortionate parking fares. It's a site run by members but the chap who checked us in was friendly and very helpful. Overall, it's a great location from which to strike out to Brussels city centre.

Perhaps the closest camping to Brussels. This is why we choose it. Facilities were OK but average. Clean and simple. But we did not expect more. The big disadvantage is air trafic just above this campsite - landing airplanes are very loud, such a noice can be heard all the night as the airport does not close for the night unfortunately ...
